WA wording matters. At Delta the PWA states that in the event of a reroute the company has to provide a hotel room or PS on Delta metal. The rub comes in when pilots have not been put on the first available flight. The first available flight was fully booked as was the 2nd. The pilot expected to bump a paying, ticketed passenger off so they could commute home(or actually any Delta station. Athens anybody?). Delta basically said, "Not so fast, we said positive space. We didn't say when. We didn't say bump passengers. The pilot view was that the company bumps paying ticketed pax during reroutes for operational integrity. The company view was that they do provide PS(training, deviate(fake DH)) but there has to be seats available at the time of booking. Both points of view are reasonable. It depends upon who's perspective.

It should have been defined explicitly what, when and how this PS to a Delta station was to be accomplished. They probably(might) have to go to negotiators notes with a grievance to settle the issue.

Words matter. Nail down the language to benefit the pilots without any possible "equivocations" or quibbling by the company. Don't let a grievance or arbitrator determine your fate. If it does go to that, make sure the language supports the pilot's desires.

"I didn't think they would due that" is not an enviable position to be in because you are playing catch-up.

JMHO (from Delta perspective) BTW Good luck on the TA(I expect landslide passage). Pattern bargaining worked well. Thanks for voting down the Tumi TA.

if we did that we would all be vaccinated against Covid! Doesn’t stop the spread, infection or reinfection.

neither does the Measles vaccine unless 95% population is vaccinated. This is why areas have had measles outbreaks recently. If everyone had revived the COVID Vaccine it would have stopped all of that. Just like polio and until recently, the measles.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I’ve had three shots and I got infected three times. So, there’s that.

This right here is easily scientifically/demonstrably false, and is brainwashed insanity.

The statements that Covid was a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" was an outright lie. Fact.
