Just so I understand. The first Delta pilot gave you a generalization so you mocked him.
The second Delta pilot provided the specifics that buttressed the generalizations so you mock him.
Whether or not the Delta employees call their CEO Ed is irrelevant.
The proof is in the pudding. Regardless of what they call the CEO, Delta did a great job WRT pattern bargaining.
The new profit sharing formula(Delta's) based on profit as opposed to margin AND being pensionable is one of the greatest achievements in this contract.

Good to know where your priorities are.
Yep, we can disagree. To make sure I understand, if we would just call the CEO by their last name that will ensure a good, on time contract? Why not just ratchet it up a tad more and call him knucklehead. That will show him we mean business.

That you don't realize why it is important is telling.
And TI ALWAYS referred to him as Scott. Why is the interesting question that is not to difficult to figure out for some at least.

It's truly astonishing that Delta got a contract at all. Not only do they call him Ed, very few pilots wear their ALPA pin at Delta or have their scab list ready for a quick draw. Oh, the horror.
Thanks for your mentoring. I do understand why YOU think it's important, to me it amounts to a pfft.

And UPS has the most valuable pilot contract in the world. Let's see if you can tell us why?

Is it because they wear their ALPA pins? Well, hum, that can't be it they aren't in ALPA.
Is it because when you are a half winger and try to introduce yourself to the captain he packs your shiznit in demanding to know where you ALPA pin is? You point to your lanyard you are wearing. It's on your lanyard, around you neck so you get mentored about proper wear ,"Should be out, loud ,and proud"
Is it because they haul boxes vice people and are more recession resistant?
Oh, I know, I know. Is it because they carry a scab list and when you ask for a jump seat the captain looks for your name on the list?
Oh sage one, please mentor me. What ARE the top 2 or three reason according to you?
