It’s pretty easy. It was too long to read every detail, but in the end there is more money here per unit of effort expended.

The question you might want to ask yourself, is "why are thousands of pilots flocking to the majors, and not to NetJets?"
Or maybe everyone is lost except you?

I’m a UAL guy, and this is a common position but is the result if the 121 echo chamber and is rooted in arrogance. I know numerous who chose NetJets over UAL.

It’s not our place to tell you what you want out of your career in Aviation. Besides if we told you to fly United, and you didn’t like it, you could blame us for your lot. Fuhgetabout it. Make your own choices.

I mean, what did you expect? You parachute into the united threads and humblebrag about your life, and rather arrogantly charge us to take time out of our days to read your unreasonably long post and make some kind of case for you to go to United? And then you get upset because the forum is unable to address your highly specific concerns and circumstances..which your therapist probably can't even unravel. I'm not a UAL pilot, but if I was, I'd tell you not to go to United, so as not to hear you gripe for the rest of your career how much better you'd have it at NetJets.

I appreciate the feedback. My intent wasn’t to humblebrag, it was to be very specific about what I have so as to understand if and when United could provide something along similar lines. I presumed that in a United forum I’d get responses from United pilots like ‘DEN is going to take X years to hold a line as a PIC, contractually you’ll work Y days per month starting out, in Z years that will be down to A days, but with trip drops / swaps / slides your flexibility is limited to this and that, health insurance will run between $ and $ for a normal healthy family of 4, typical trips are 3 days, you’ll probably get X base as a new hire but movement has been fast / slow, don’t worry though the commuter policy will so and so’. Everyone tells me that United is way better than what I have and I just want someone to prove it to me. Show me the CARFAX.

Jesus Christ…will you dimwits please stop quoting the first post you’re giving me arthritis.
And how long it will take to hold this or that is a worthless exercise…five years from now won’t look like today. Nothing happens in a straight line in this industry.

At UAL you'll be doing a lot of flying in/out of ORD and EWR. Get there early and there's no gate for you, now you're sent to the penalty box to wait 30 mins for a gate to open, get to your gate and no rampers to marshall you in so you wait 20 more mins for rampers to show up, now finally at the gate but no gate agent to move the jet bridge over so you wait another 10 minutes for that. Yes, it's frequent as this has happened to me on numerous occasions.
The other thing that no one has mentioned in this thread, and I'm sure you're aware of, is the infamous F word: furloughs. EJA last furloughed about what, 500 back in 2008? Legacies will furlough as fast as they've been hiring. That guillotine will come down, not IF but WHEN. You say you have some seniority at EJA, that holds a lot of weight. Not only protection from being F'd, but also puts you that much closer to upgrade.
Don't forget about reserve. UAL has the worst reserve rules out of all the legacies. But yes, the pay is great, if that's at the top of your list. Better than EJA for sure. Your retirement nest egg will also be higher.
So it's not a simple as 'duh, go to a Legacy'. You really gotta sit down and list the pros/cons of both. Not trying to persuade you one way or the other. Just giving you some insight to the 121 world as it's not all rainbows and unicorns.
