It’s the truth. The dad is a festering turd and the sun didn’t fall far from the boner pill tree.

I don't remember anyone complaining when the old guys voted to take a pay cut so that the young guys wouldn't get furloughed. Short memories....

You mean when that was their only option? so they can continue to pay off their ex wive's alimony/child support, boats, and beach houses?

The "young guys" that were solidly in their 40s, spent over a decade at the regionals because of 65, and had to have thousands of hours to get hired at that regional way back when?? Those "young guys"??

If your only argument is "i had it tougher" it isn't going to go very far. There is always a line of people with increasingly horrible stories that makes most people realize their own situation wasn't so bad. But go ahead and make this a "young" guys vs everyone argument.

To be fair the old vs young argument was started by the young guy hoping this accident was a 60 something year old….

We don’t remember that passed by something like 54%? Guessing not many “old guys” voted yes for it.

As a "top third" pilot who voted in favor of the PLOA I cringe when I read crap like this. No beach house, married 26 years, and no boat (or plane) for me. Worst case I would've gone from 320 Captain to Guppy Captain. I put a lot of thought into my vote and came down on the side of 'improving' the culture by hopefully avoiding having a lot of junior pilots screwed by the company. I've heard more than enough opinions/statements like yours to make me regret my vote. I only wish pilots like you expressed those opinions face to face so I could save some time and money buying you dinner.
