Contract discussions
#21
Forgive my ignorance, but my imagination lacks to understand what one could do so damning by commuting.
I’ve heard the words and phrases:
compassionate
egregious
kill their career
ruin careers of 16000 pilots
was trying to do the right thing
somehow related to contract issues, or was relevant to conversation
had to be deleted to save all involved
maybe it’s like fight club and no one can say, but I baffled how one could cause so much strife by sharing even the most dumb practices. How is compassionate ever bad? Should they get kudos for core 4 practices?
Please PM me if that makes more sense. I want to learn from others, especially what not to do. In no way I want to stumble and get another thread deleted, trouble with APC, FIGHT Club, or the Illuminati. So I guess be tactful…

I am trolling you only because you posted butthurt and that you’d take your ball and go home and not post. You call it idiocy because you don’t know the details of why threads were removed. I saw some of it, and think it was a good call.
Recent threads are caricatures of pilots who want to have control in these negotiations and don’t have it. All I can say is trust the process. Very clear direction has been given to the negotiating committee and it sounds like we’re getting closer. It will be a lot easier for all of us to *****, when we see a TA until that time, all I can do is echo the advice to take a chill pill

And dude, I’m the one that has advocated chilling on the negotiations and letting the committee do their jobs for months now, and yes, results are finally happening.
Cheers, here’s to a hopefully ILC. 🍻

My implication about posting was that I figured calling out the mods would get me put in time-out like in the past… I actually do know the details, and the details make it even more ridiculous that the two threads were taken down (one is back up at least).

IF endgame negotiations fall apart, which they could. We’ll all have to refocus on a harsh reality - that an agreement could be years away AND at some point we could be asked to strike.
if that becomes the new direction there won’t be much room for snark - especially not mine.
Cheers
