afraid of boogeyman…PR is against company on this, not the people. Don’t be scared. Sucks this defeatist attitude even exists.

How many of those previous earnings calls included news of record profits?

If you have record profits, you dont need a contract announcement... There will be another earnings call in 4 months.

true, but it helps. And the contract isn’t getting cheaper the longer they drag it out. And then comes the strike vote and a summer from hell.

If we had a contract in 2019, then those wages would have been paid at the newer rates. And the company is ultimately paying a fair chunk of the 2020-2021 salaries with loans. With retro now for 2020-2021, the company is ultimately paying for those newer rates, not the government. No PR problem.

All the smartypants on here with the “done” updates, not sure your sources are as reliable as you think… Also, MEC just called you out.

It’s kind of like watching all of the news channels fighting to be the first one to call election results. It’s done when the MEC tells us it’s done, until then people can just APC on. The claims of inside sources and pure speculation is always entertaining.

$100 bucks to the charity of your choice if we don't have an announcement of an AIP at UAL next week.

You in?

Next week!? Are you serious, get real with that. The predictions of the deal being done, “expect email tonight!” started on Wednesday I think…

I actually think it will be done soon, patience is a virtue I seldom have but I’m trying.
