Yes, but based on those 5 posts he's senior, and either a UAL pre-'96 hire or a CAL pre '98 hire. He said he could hold 777 Cap in Jan. of '20. I'm UAL early '96 and I couldn't hold 777 cap then.
Here's to hoping his rumor is a good one. Not that it would be all that surprising given the update from last night:
We are at the point where MEC Chair Garth Thompson and CEO Kirby have started discussions today on the remaining high cost/high difficulty items. Expect more information when these high-level meetings produce some reportable results.

Doesn’t sound like an AIP yet but seems pretty close
MEC Regular Meeting Update
Yesterday's meeting between the MEC Chair and CEO Kirby produced actionable items for processing. As a result, subject matter experts and negotiators from both sides worked late last night and throughout today to resolve these items. Today concluded with the MEC reviewing the current status and providing negotiating direction.
The MEC received scheduled reports from various committees and conducted other union business as a normal course of the meeting. The MEC will continue work on agenda items tomorrow. Because we have reached a critical point in our negotiations, the MEC is not expected to adjourn as scheduled Friday afternoon. They will either recess at the call of the Chair or stay in session until all of the pilots' business is completed.
We will continue to report negotiating progress as significant events occur.
