long time. To go and wing it on this kind of career / opportunity …I wouldn’t do it. Most people want one of the big three and to waste a year because you didn’t prep seems silly to me. The good prep services don’t make an answer for you , they give you a thought process and point out what can be negative in your answer that you didn’t perceive. I would bet anything people that prep are more likely to get a job over someone that didn’t. Just doing the prep shows you care and is already a positive

Not doing the prep may work out. however out of the 80-90 military applicants I know from the various squadrons I've flown with them in over the years the simple truth is those that didn't do the prep (which was a small number) ended up either not receiving a offer from a Major airline and ended up staying in the military, or adding 6-9 months of additional wait time due to failed interviews / apps not trigging interviews. Most people do not possess enough self-reflection ability to identify if they need interview prep, and honestly, I've wasted far more money on far more questionable endeavors. Adding additional security that you will get both interviewed and pass said interview at a higher rate of success is a simpleton's choice and those choosing not to are not really worth the time helping anyhow.

Interview coming up as well. Heard the briefing items provided in the study guide should be briefed in the order provided on the interview study guide. Would 'in order' be read left to right in rows or top to bottom in columns? The briefing sequence isn't exactly logical.

Not at all, I know in the email it said that accommodations around moving the interview date may not be available but a couple people in my class had to do it. If you have the time to still do it on your assigned date i would recommend it though, every missed class is 50 seniority numbers under you. Good Luck!

Apply & get hired at an U/LCC or another legacy. If you are looking at United because you live or want to live in one of its domiciles, being at a competitor is probably the most advantageous data point on application.

Like was said before, otherwise Go work for a competitor where you want to live, or upgrade to Captain where you are.
