No, but it’s too lengthy to explain what global/basic is and what’s open on both, what’s agreed to, etc. Global and basic will still be distinct categories, but what global will be is basically closed out. Aspects of basic are still open as are aspects of FSB.
The summary gives a better breakdown, but you also have to have an understanding of what the underlying contract says to understand the changes.

How can field standby NOT be an automatic NO.

You’re right. Any UALPA shouldn’t even bother sending an AIP with involuntary rolled days off or field standby on reserve out to membership to vote.

We each will vote based on how the new language/agreement serves us individually.
If I am 51% happy, I will vote yes.

That is probably how most people view it as well, but it was still a large enough concern for some people that elimination of involuntary FSB is an open item. I think that this is a bigger thing for locals who are more likely to subject themselves to reserve and don't want to drive to the airport. I'll never sit reserve as a commuter again, but preferred FSB to SC when I did it.

Reserve improvements increase staffing requirements and vacancy opportunities for WB CA, which increases seniority down the line in every other equipment/seat.
Eliminating rolled days off and FSB will increase WB CA vacancies upto 20%.

ThumbsUp just gave you the ole “you don’t understand our language, now shoo”. Now they’re trying to make a case for FSB, “I prefer it sometimes”. It’s a shame really.

I don’t know what’s worse, not caring for terrible work rules that don’t apply to your personal circumstance (which makes you a disgrace), or not comprehending that they actually do apply to you directly as explained by Otterbox.
This is exactly why United is hiring these scrubs with no college degree. They want uneducated suckers like yourself for those easy future yes votes.

2) No, some of us have the profession and those behind us in mind. You? Not so much. If everyone had your mindset, we'd have a B through D scale.
3) Of course you will.

And good luck to you if you think that EVERY PILOT at United (or any carrier) does not think the same way. Pilots are greedy, and each one has their own agenda and personal issues that will drive the way they vote.

So, if any new TA included $1000/hour, 60 days vacation, but retained current FSB language, every pilot should vote NO?
