“This just in, AIP to be reached next week after CEO’s friends give him shameful look in Yankees box after fan marquee.” Actually this scenario probably makes pilots look more whiny than deserving. With the exception of some travelers who appreciate the industry and some kids who think airplanes are cool, the general public thinks airlines only exist because of massive taxpayer bailouts. I’ve never had confidence in public stunts like this. Picketing at airports/company functions on the other hand is targeted and effective. Like how FedEx pickets on Wall Street for example.

Then again the general public also probably doesn’t know who SK is or what “U.A. Alpa” means and is too lazy to google it.
