Already been proven over and over. Common misconception.

There are no scientific reports on severe reactions with airborne peanut allergen.

I always shake my head how we are supposed to operate "peanut free flights" (not UAL, but we get it over at DAL too) but wy wife who is allergic to cats, will invariably be seated next to someone's "emotional support animal" or cabin cat (paid) and "don't like the cat, gtfo the plane"

I actually had a flight where a cat got out of it's carrier, and seeked out the person allergic to them, and we had a divert. Two weeks later, ATL to LAX, in the back on paid tickets going to the Anaheim Supercross, same thing. Cat escaped. Got in my wifes lap. She basically ate a ton of Benadryl, and had the epi pen ready.

You have the best stories. If even following the 10% rule, you are epic bad luck.
