How about you mention Mr Kirby. The MEC & the NC understand pretty well what we require on top of what Delta just achieved.

It’s actually not up to them to deliver, per say- but of our corporate leadership to DELIVER
Sounds like they could deliver a TA tomorrow that the company loves but we hate (sound familiar?!)

Enough is Enough. We are an airline. Pilots are at the pointy end of the plane. We have a vested interest in our airline while our CEO just got a 6.2 million dollar bonus? Where is the Dignity and Respect that they talked about years ago.

Let’s Stay Safe. Stay Professional.. our passengers are not our enemy. They may be caught in the crossfire, and that’s a shame- but let’s make sure we remain Legal.
Fly your Contract, wear your Lanyard, educate the younger/newer generation of Professional Airline Pilots.

And if you’re on the outside looking to come here- start taking note of the culture at this place.

Always

He needed to get the bonus before the company posts a Q1 loss in two weeks.

probably the only airline that’s going to have a Q1 loss, too.

Your reference has nothing to do with the facts that Fineese is shining light on. The facts that United has always and, with SK’s current approach, apparently will continue to trail Delta. It’s due to a lack of leadership on both sides (company & union).

The latest update does sound like SK is playing hard ball and we are at an impasse. Nothing is happening quickly and I get the impression we are in for a long fight. Bid off May 12th if you can!

It feels like the window of leverage is closing as the economy continues to show signs of ill health. I’m sure the company sees this. Hopefully our MEC plays cards wisely but have little faith. Will keep wearing orange lanyard.

Before someone jumps on me for sounding defeatist, I’m not suggesting weakened resolve. I had been optimistic something would happen relatively quickly this summer—but I agree with those saying it’s looking like it’s going to be a long fight.

You delta guys are lapping up management telling you that you are the best and it appears that you actually believe them. You're taking cheap shots at your union peers and wondering why they are struggling. It was a few short years ago that YOUR ta had medical examinations above a certain sick call hour limit and a whole other list of problems that you voted down. Delta then had to recall a large portion of union leadership... sound familiar? We are fixing our problems and we don't need the simpletons from your forum gloating about our temporary set backs. You delta guys should get off managements teet and realize your just like us.

IOW, "We know we have an ugly baby, and at family reunions we talk about how butt ugly that baby is. But, how how dare you call my baby fugly."

Maybe they started reading at the beginning of the thread that Sunvox started. Re-read that initial opening post by Sunvox and maybe (since pattern bargaining is a real thing) other "outside" groups felt compelled to weigh in?

Right now we have a FUGLY baby, hopefully as it loses it's baby fat, it will become the apple of our eye.

BTW, at indoc and charm school, our mgt tells us we are number 1 and thus the hookup to managements teet begins. So far, at least Delta's management walks the talk not just talks the talk like Kirby.

"Don't shoot the messenger" comes to mind. Although my first thought/reaction was a visceral "defense of our baby from an outsider" akin to yours.

I'm pretty sure they are not Delta. Good luck to you all.
