That just proves most of the United pilot group are total suckers. Management would have been “rockstars”?? Are you ****ing kidding me!! Sadly you’re probably correct, but you are the weakest unionized work group in the industry. You boys are way to proud to know your worth. It’s just embarrassing.
Nobody is parading around at Delta with managements offer. We were owed that contract. I truly have no hope for your sorry pilot group. You’ll match our rates, they’ll throw you a few QoL scraps that won’t hurt their bottom line, and that will be that.
The end.

I see the replies to Finessed. Don't know much about past posts by Finessed, but in the post quoted above, Finissed sees the picture pretty clearly.

Yeah, using phrases like 'you guys' and 'nobody' to describe groups of 15000+ should be taken seriously. I won't stoop to his level of painting a pilot group with a broad brush, but I can't miss the hypocrisy. Even the claim that they 'were owed' that contract is ignorantly oversimplistic. They weren't owed Jack squat. Neither are we. They EARNED that contract by working the system correctly and taking advantage of opportunities that arose. Now it's our turn to EARN an industry leading contract by getting unified and letting the MEC & NC execute their game plan.

I know where you're coming from. And we're more like minded than not. But stepping back and making an honest assessment of the body, as a whole, I can't say Fineessed is wrong with their assessment. Not a poke at anyone in particular. Not a poke at the 19. It's my observation of the 15,000.
What you wrote in your reply is what I'd like to see and would do anything to help get the group to that point of unity. But what I'd like to see and what I actually see are two different things.
