This^^^. The supplemental is not only more expensive at United than MOAA, but the premiums for any supplemental is so high that it is rarely worth it unless you are close to your catastrophic cap.

I will add that the FSA is a good deal. Money you elect comes out of your check pre-tax and then you can use it on any qualified medical expensive excluding premiums. So basically, you’re getting all of your copays, contacts, glasses, toothpaste, etc… tax free.
