Yeah, sorry. It seemed like a silly question.

If you fly anything smaller than a 50 seat RJ, doesn't seem like it's a thing. He probably doesn't realize the amounts of money involved in a large cargo operation.

DL does the same. About 8 prior to push we get a message that tells us we are OK to push or If we are close to a limiting weight it will say stay at gate until we get final numbers. I assume UA and AA have a similar setup.

Stop being an ass on another sub forum. And if this was your whole point all along, at least be an ass to begin with and save the trouble.

Anyway, this practice is industry standard for decades. Everyone does it, except for maybe one airline. Time to get over it…if there is anything to get over.
