🤣

Meanwhile, the vaccine is still required to work here. There are plenty of airlines where it isn't if that's a problem.

This advice can be hard to hear, but… If you don’t want the COVID vaccine, you probably won’t like United. The vaccine requirement isn’t a weird one-off thing. It’s a coherent expression of management philosophy, and it’s one you won’t like. There are other good airlines for people who don’t want the vaccine. For your own happiness, pick a different airline.

Any idea if there is a waiver for the yellow fever vaccine? I have a suppressed immune system, and can’t receive a yellow fever vaccine since it’s a live vaccine.

Yes, there is. Yellow fever is granted relatively easily, you just can’t bid certain aircraft/base combinations.

And what? Use the zero years of immunological experience we don't have to render judgement on something judged safe by those who dedicate their lives to such stuff?

Two things at work here: 1) preponderance of those who study this stuff say it's safe and saves lives. 2) the company requires it.

Oh, and 3) there are other airlines if you don't like 1 and 2.

And this has nothing to do with our former MEC being 100% in bed with the company.

The doctors and scientists that actually did have years of virology and immunological experience were censored and de-platformed by Twitter and big tech at the request of the current administration because they did not agree with the narrative. You literally have not been allowed to see or hear the opinions of people the government does not like for the last 2 years so of course you feel the way you do. Once you or someone close to you is victimized maybe you will start looking around.
