Default Delta's 18 hour LC

I understand Delta has 18 hour LC in the new contract. Does anyone know if something similar has been on the table for a possible United contract? Seems like a game changing QOL factor for commuters.

The game changer for commuters will be if we establish limits to getting the SC/FSB conversion and when during the day that conversion must occur. 18 hours is no more useful than the 13 currently if you just get stuck in the SC conversion cycle.

Doesn’t really matter when there’s no practical limit on conversion to FSB/SC.

^^^ what he said

also everyone is LC and conversion to SC is shared.. they can only be converted twice and not a third until everyone else on the reserve for that month has also done their own 2 conversions. That’s the real game changer! Spreads the wealth and will as well as aid the group to live outside the bases with high cost of living.

New master chair NS is currently on reserve, hopefully he is tired of being abused and will command changes.

I’m pretty happy we elected someone with actual current line experience. This should pay dividends.

FS FS FS SC FLEW ...........I think we broke a record the other day. 13 of us on SC or FS all doubled up on the same day. Why .......because they can. Most of the current schedulers have less then 8 months with UA. I welcome a complete re write.

Gotta love the ol'

..."We are unable to make that trade because we don't have coverage..."

::Call back 5m later::

New scheduler..."No problem. Coverage looks great"

That's amazing.

Reserve should be written to where senior people actually WANT to bid it.
