Yes, I expect to be forced out myself on disability for medical reasons and would like nothing better than to see LTD improvements, but I am not a one issue voter and would examine any offer based on it's entirety. I am especially keen to see some QOL gains clawing back minor issues we gave up in bankruptcy. Items that will be of benefit to those with decades left especially reserve rules and the like.

If the company wants to fill new hire classes they better beat these rates quickly. Not sure why anyone would want to come to United with Delta having pay 34% mor than us. Better call Boeing and tell them to get rid of some of those orders because we cant’ staff them.

The company was pretty smart to give that 5% raise early. It was smart of ALPA to accept it early too. Otherwise we might have negotiated Delta rates without it and then gotten the 5% raise on top, something so unaffordable it would sink the company.

I am just shaking my head…. It seems like 90+% on here are so focused on pay rates. That is how dumb decisions happen!!! Take the shiny object, and not see the forest through the trees.
Pay rates are important, but not as important as work rules!!! I will gladly sacrifice pay rates for significant advances in Sections 5 & 20. Obviously zero concessions regarding scope!!! To me R & I is more important than pay rates!!!
