One narrow body manufactured airplane can descend on path, the other can't even descend on path with a 50 knot headwind... I was hoping more for more airbus narrow body orders and Boeing heavy orders.

I thought there might have been a chance of that with the current standing of the MAX 7 & 10 programs. BA must know something us mortals don't. Or they are having a fire sale while EADS holds firm on their price (IE profit margins).

for every 2 787s
one 737 max free

that’s what I believe it happened

by 2035

296 787s (64 had , 16+16 +100 firm and 100 options )
22 777- 300 ( good till then )
600 737s ( mostly max )
120 airbus 321s (50 xlr and 50 neos )

But for all of that to happen
Contract NOW

The 380 almost bankrupt Airbus and has a major design flaw that almost killed 400 people.

If we take narrowbody frames alone, boeing has almost 4 times the hull and life loss as airbus.
737 NG safer then A320, look it up!!!

I'm assuming you mean the 737 can decend on path. Flown both for many years. 320 is worst vnav ever made , hands down, not even close.

I’ve flown both for many years as well and FiFi does just fine in managed descent as long as you're in managed speed as well. Rarely have an issue.

look at number of 737s built and number of a320s built. it's not about age. it's about numbers. same rough numbers built, many more 737s lost

what I mean specifically was 737 vs a320. I said boeing narrowbody but I meant today's generation of planes.
