With that in mind, do we have enough parking at our current domiciles for that? I'm a Bus F/O in EWR and know we are gate, runway, and parking limited there already.

From what I've seen in IAD, IAH, ORD the same limits apply to varying degrees.

With the above in play it would appear to me that looking at UALs current domestic route structure, you just can't increase frequencies enough (thicken the lines on the map) but will need both new routes and new domiciles to absorb all the new metal. The current plan for LAS / MCO hubs will alleviate some system stress in the short term, but as staffing and jets arrive it won't be enough as currently envisioned / announced.

Now looking at BOS as a domicile would most likely mean thin international (some 767, 757, but most likely A321 type flying) but it's runway / parking constrained.

I could see DEN growing more than has been talked about. Could we be looking at increasing flying in the SE US, or to Latin America? How about setting up domiciles in your enemies domiciles because you have out hired, out bought, and outgrown his ability to fight you?

SK seems to stay one or three steps ahead...

Comments welcome.
SK told a new hire/upgrade class about a month ago both DEN and IAD are going to double in size

Wonder-
Is this the same SK who told newhire/upgrade, back in July that we wouldn't be opening a Florida base any time soon?
Or that the TumiTA was "just a 2 year deal... we'll negotiate a better deal in 2 years"
That Sk?

That just goes to show you haven't flown a new MAX.

I have flown a MAX - prefer the bus over the MAX any day.

Atleast you’re right about one thing. Most of the buses are 30 years old 😂😂
And the max isn’t bad to fly at all . I will admit Boeing could have made the flight deck bigger, better over the years and added Eicas .
Enjoy your 34 hour overnight in Grand Rapids on the bus , I’m headed to Aruba for a 30 hour overnight 😂😂😂

To each his own. The overnights on the Bus in former RJ locations is a plus for us all. I did all those overnights as a RJ driver making next to nothing and now I do them in the Bus making a little more.

Yeah an 18 hour BFE overnight when you’re at the Hilton downtown and can comfortably afford to eat at the nicest restaurants is vastly different than a 10.1 hour BFE overnight in a comfort inn and suites in the middle of an industrial park scraping together quarters to get a gas station roller dog and a six pack.
