Where do those 120 jets get parked if not at new destinations and serving new hubs? I think we are about to go on the offensive domestically...
We’re shrinking the RJ fleet by about half. That’s a lot of parking in former express outstations. There’s room at IAD overnight. I think it’ll definitely be a problem but I don’t think it’s necessarily indicative of a new hub.

And that is probably the plan should we get into a bigger recession. However, I doubt that is the primary plan and it still doesn't answer the simple logistical problem...

Of note is that terminal A will be operational soon alleviating some of the pressure off of the C gates. Also, word on the street is that it will be where most of the bus trips flowing out of EWR are parked.

Short call is 2:30 to show.

Thanks. 2:30 is workable from most parts of the Tampa Bay area.

Yet they are still more comfortable than a guppy designed in 1967!

they are not planning on retiring any Airbus in 2023 unless they find an airframe issue like the recently retired 767. Eventually yes but then again the first 737-700/800’s are hitting the 25 years old mark and many don’t have the refreshed first class cabin yet so could be candidates for retirement too in the near future.

What was the issue with the 767?

One frame had to be forced retired due to corrosion found…

You can fix anything. It's just a question of how much it will cost....

I would rather fly a 30 year old airbus with CRTs and operationally complex MELs than a brand new MAX
