My class had anywhere from 1500ish to 10k+. Personalities, demeanor, and extracurricular accomplishments seemed to be the common thread instead of some magic number or type of flying experience.

2900TT / <100 TPIC when called for interview. Spring 2022. CFI/Regional background, Bachelor’s degree, CP M&G, some “extracurricular.” Had been told 4k TT was the sweet spot and was surprised to get the call. I think it was the M&G that tipped the scale.

They basically hire you with whatever you have.

Apply, update once a month and find out. When they call you that’s the minimums you needed.

Yes, perhaps candidates who exhibit unfortunate personalities, poor demeanors and/or have no accomplishments should be concerned.
