Can’t speak to the nuclear response, but I think anyone here would at the very least have deleted the post.

& for the OAN crowd, it had nothing to do w/ sensitivity or PC politics.

The guy didn't need to be suspended. He explained something he did in an attempt to make commuting easier and more transparent for all. Let's just say it was a bad technique, but he didn't know.

Also - the only thing from those threads that we are missing out on, is one of the best Rick Rolls seen to date 👍🙂

say that reminds me. I was at the gun range yesterday exercising my freedom and boy did I hear some straight up bat ******** crazy conversations in the front office. Apparently, the military does have anti gravity technology and interstellar travel capabilities. I mean this guy as adamant it was an incontrovertible fact. This guy is old, has a lot of guns and you will never guess what Presidential Campaign bumper sticker was in his truck….

So two threads with hundreds of posts and lots of pertinent information were deleted because someone aired his poor (and not per company policy) commuting technique? Asinine.

I think there were some decent nuggets in there for us about the contract and opinions about what’s important, and I enjoy the banter among us.

But yeah, that was a varsity Rick Roll.

Exactly!!! I echo that sentiment. Why couldn’t the MODS just delete the post in question, and keep the remaining content?

It won't be long before you can start a thread to discuss an actual AIP.

I'm not a mod, but here's my guess.

Instead of taking the time to parse through a live thread, it may be easier to take the whole thing offline to edit. It's also likely that they just don't have the time to devote to the task.

Interesting thing to wake up to this morning. Not sure what I missed.

So, is the censoring specific to contract discussions? Are we allowed to discuss negotiations, or is the deletion of multiple threads on the topic an indicator that we shouldn’t be talking about it?

I’m a little confused.

A fellow pilot shared a compassionate (but against probably all airline CoC) commuting strategy. It was intertwined with several quotes, and other pertinent contract discussion. The entire thread was removed instead of simply the offending comments. Pilots are identifiable on here, and I am glad that our colleague (who was trying to do the right thing) can be counselled by their peers / union and not the company.

Maybe the thread is being sanitized and will be reposted.

it turns out that at least one of the OPs of one of the deleted threads has his account banned with no explanation of why. I contacted a mod on his behalf but no response yet.
