Really??? Go read yours and other comments describing this pilot group to justify your argument. Obtw, it’s called Schedule History.
For those who’ve never seen the Schedule History page you should take a look. Especially the ones on reserve.

We aren’t cohesive as a group. FedEx has been in contact negotiations far less time than we have and they aren’t picking up open time because of negotiations. Ask your friends. Conversely, PP works so well here that SK himself is talking about how it’s at 20% of the trips covered and he wants to reduce it.

We’ll, I had been on the fence with schedule blocking/unblocking. After reviewing the entire thread, I’m definitely in the blocked category now. Thanks for the evolution

Classic yet sadly amusing. You convinced yourself with your own words.

I'm curious as to your logic?. You have said all that info is readily available and much easier accessed? If so, what good does blocking your schedule do?

The opinions expressed here honestly. We had to negotiate under the UALALPA injunction, which if you remember was the result of a few guys checking other Pilots schedules under the guise of seeking transparency and then taking it too far. How soon we forget. That hurt us at the table. And in this thread I’m hearing the same flawed logic. Honestly, I wish they all were blocked.
In the end, the rules only affect honest folks, so it won’t make a difference.

I strongly suggest people look up the injunction before accepting revisionist history.
“We had to negotiate under the UALALPA injunction, which if you remember was the result of a few guys checking other Pilots schedules under the guise of seeking transparency and then taking it too far.”
As flawed as it is, your cherry picking narrative does conveniently fit your argument

It certainly does fit my argument. So far, the anti-block crowd has suggested that blocking one’s schedule is tantamount to scabbing, that line Pilots should “police” each other’s schedules to make sure they were getting treated fairly and that in the aforementioned case-law , that the gentlemen concerned didn’t actually check other Pilots schedules.
Time after time former Reps have stated, through experience, the problems with checking other Pilot’s schedules. It’s pretty obvious where and from whom the problems with checking schedules would occur.
I suggest that you bring forth a resolution to make all schedules visible. If it passes, then there’s no reason for this ridiculous thread. If not, same same.
Different paradigm between Pilots. Even when I served on the MEC and occasionally needed to, it always felt a little dirty and intrusive to check another Pilots master schedule. It always seemed cleaner to track the trip, not the Pilot.

As for now, I just enjoy calling out your misinformation like a few guys “checking schedules” caused an injunction. Again B, it’s called Schedule History. At least you can get the terminology correct.

Do I feel that strongly? Not really. More of a preference with a simple example. You and others have blown it way way out of proportion to suit your desire.
