they should have resigned at that point then to put pressure on the MEC. They now have their names on this and are just as culpable now that it’s out.

Is this Kirby vs. Isom and we are all pawns? The last offer by AA was $65 million/yr not including 4% 3% pay raises. Now they offer 1 billion/ yr improvements. Hey Delta get in the game. Please up the ante for all of us.

Buying all American Pilots a cold one!!!!
NOT buying our MEC and NC a cold one. F em! They were so ready to throw us under the bus. Just for the convenience and expediency of getting a deal done. Even if it was the wrong/bad deal.

But it's a start.
In other words, American bailed them out.

This dreck was going down with membership faster than the Titanic into the north Atlantic. The MEC Chairman got caught trying to pull a strategy session with his peeps pushing the aforementioned dreck. This is a PR disaster for ALPA with the membership. They needed something to break the negative news cycle. This American deal is the perfect out. The only question is, will they go through the process and announce the results or just quietly recall the TA and go back to the drawing board?

If it's announced, I predict 72-28 against.

Don't slack off, keep the NO votes coming!!!
My estimation is we're still 2 years out. Our pilots aren't PO'd enough. We need a lot more anger at the grass roots level to motivate our antagonists and our militant base. Traditionally that's 10%. The other group is an offset. That's the company stooges and wanna-be mangers, LCA's, suck ups, brown nosers, etc. That group is about 10% as well. The rest of the 80% need continual stroking (so to speak) to keep them engaged. After copious Field Standby's, and reassignments, lost days off, and working for less we'll all be pretty motivated - in about 2 years.

Wow! I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but they just saved Kirby from having to talk about his pilot group rejecting a contract 4 days before his investor call on 7/19. They just threw away a lot of leverage. Who’s side are they on?
