I'm Y2K LUAL hire so that means most of my career has been on reserve. I've learned how to play a LOT of reserve games, and I've watched crew schedulers counter reserve pilots' games.
If anyone thinks that a reserve being on the hook for more hours at the front of every work block will 'fix' schedulers' reserve games, then they haven't been on reserve for a very long time, if ever.
There are sooo many different levers that schedulers can pull to get their desired outcome. This TA may close a couple of those levers, but not enough to make a difference.
Thank you. I didn’t realize I misunderstood him. I’ve been on Reserve most of my time here. Almost 10 years. Same in my previous 15 years before United. Nothing I read would make me feel like it’s improving. I would like 13-14, hell Southwest 15 days off on reserve. Keep your add pay.

I was hired post ISL 2013 and I did a poll. I get you are saying a more recent one should've been done, and I agree with that, but when was the last one done? Your statement that nobody hired post ISL 2013 has been polled is inaccurate - speaking from personal experience.

No worries. I listened very closely to him on that subject. And my first thought was that this jackwagon has never been on reserve.
FIFO lists are, for the most part, worthless. They're not only gamed by schedulers but also fellow reserves.

I said 4000 pilots at this airline have not been polled for the contract of our careers…and that’s a true statement. We’ve hired more than 4000 since post merger. We’ve had others on leave whom have returned from leave that weren’t polled. So it’s not inaccurate you just can’t read.

Well the sentence was the sentence and it read as it’s written. And you would be correct. Us Arkansans are a bit slow. But in the end we both do the same thing career wise so poor writing or not…we both here genius.

“Stop with the personal insults, it makes you look like a 13 year-old trying to pick a fight on the school playground. Grow up.”
Are all you Union troll volunteers paid extra to be hypocrites?

Oh he didn’t insult me. My skin is way thicker than that. Anymore than I insulted him. But by the tone of both of our comments I’m not sure how you could accuse either one of us being union trolls. I’m ready to show UALPA the door and clean house with new everybody after this piece of trash hit the floor on Friday last week.

Saying someone writes poorly is not the same as calling someone a "foul creature" and you know it. But nice try. And no I am not a "union troll volunteer."

Saying “whom” all the time makes a person sound pretentious. Using it incorrectly makes one sound ignorant. Being both….is inexcusable.
