Damage is already done. This UPA2022 might limp across the finish line and pass. Then we’re stuck with it.

Exactly, too little too late. What has been done cannot be undone with a disingenuously contrite email or two.

As a DAL pilot, I never come to the UAL page. But given all the talk on our DAL page I had to come over and have a look. The biggest red flag that I see is the fact that there was no polling since 2019 and no mediation request. That's crazy! We have been polled throughout the process (even last month!) and are well into mediation. Also, 4% Retro for just this year? That alone should be grounds for recalling the entire UALPA group! Hang tough guys. Your ALPA brothers and sisters are truly pulling for you to get the contract we all deserve. Not the current POS.

They got caught up in the sales job because:
1. They don't talk to their membership
2. They ignore the membership
3. Don't care what the membership concerns are
4. Don't actively poll the membership
5. Act as though they are superior to the membership

In ALPA, the inverted pyramid model, the members are ON TOP. The members are the bosses. The MEC and NC works for us. They forgot that!

They threw the members under the bus. Then they told us we had to go out and push management's bus too! WTF????

Recall or Resign. Le'ts roll!

That's all fine and good. Now he needs to make the motion to recall the NC Chair and the Master Chair. Let's see what hes' made of.

100%, about 4000 of us have been hired since the last poll. Our voices have never been heard. Now is the time with the vote. It’s ironic that they try and fix reserve issue without consulting the majority of the pilot group that’s actually on reserve.

Doing the right thing after doing the wrong thing doesn't mean there are zero repercussions. How he handles this next part is the tell. Him saying he will take his responsibility of voting to send the next TA out for MR seriously is a little dense. You could have saddled us with a bad contract for decades isn't a whoopsie. Back to flying the line like the rest of us.

This guy is part of the 16 vote majority that insler enjoyed to pass those loas and mous at midnight, without discussing it with the rest of the mec because they already had the votes to give kirby whatever he wanted.

With hamilton, it was still business as usual, until…

now.

No one wants this pos ta, and now the guy’s sorry, he didn’t know, etc.

Bull effin sht!

Getting roasted because as a sitting union rep he voted to replace union members with non members selected by management under a “qualified” criteria. Even if T/A was the best ever just this act alone requires all15 to resign including the MEC leadership. And for anyone to defend it puts them right there as well in the same non unionist category. This isn’t a voteable issue. It’s treason against the union and it’s members in good standing.

Insler nor Hamilton and certainly not Glenn Johnson wanted to hear your opinions cause they knew what it would be. Insler caved to the regionals as well for one reason only. He wants ALPA President and knows he needs the votes and Hamilton and Johnson gonna ride that coat tail straight to Herndon.
