Voted yes. Yes. YES.
When I get priced out of my apartment because the TA does not keep up with inflation I have a free TUMI bag that will help me keep my uniforms crisp when I’m living on the street.
And I can wrap my Rainbow ALPA lanyard around the TUMI to keep everything secure. The TUMI and rainbow ALPA lanyard will always show me how much my company cares about me, and how well my union dues are paying off to reflect my interests as a professional pilot.
You guys need to see the big picture here.

I’m not so sure. I’ve never seen this much animosity towards a contract in my 27 years. Hell even our bankruptcy contract was bad but that was with a gun to our heads. Don’t think it’ll be 90/10 against but I’m guessing 70-30 no. It’s easy to sell work rules for pay when you’re raking in 94.5 hrs/month and don’t have to worry about getting reassigned going threw EWR.
I haven’t run into a pilot in ops yet (I’ve done sits in IAH and SFO since this came out) who’ll admit they’re voting Yes.

One thing we need to keep in mind is that not everyone is a bitter, cynical, beaten down has-been like myself who has been through multiple contracts between the "Regional" airlines and the majors, we've got a lot of new shipmates fresh out of the military who are used to taking orders and don't know the ups/downs of airline contracts.
I've already talked to 2 former F-18 pilots who said they're voting Yes because "The MEC would not have endorsed it if if was not a good deal.", I'm not sure if I got through how badly this thing sucked and how you could not trust anyone, you had to read it for yourself and between the lines. The also believed that it would only be for 2 years, they had no clue about what an Amendable Date was, or that this 2 year deal could be for the next 10.
This is NOT military bashing, this is just pointing out the people who have never been through this, and need to be educated.
