So you think you can judge how an instructor will vote off of a management parking lot? This contract is crap and as instructor I will vote accordingly.
An instructor would have to be an idiot to vote this in with any further chance of returning to the line.

Uh, it’s worked quite a bit. I know from personal experience. Some airlines are sensitive to negative press (SWA) while others could care less (NK).
Picketing also displays pilot solidarity to management. You don’t think 1398 SWA pilots picketing a couple of days ago at Love Field sent a message to management?
I hope you guys vote this garbage TA down by a whopping majority. THAT will also send a crystal clear message to your management.

Alot of comments on the TK guys and LCA's. Here is my perspective. I am perfectly fine with them going to 12 yr FO rates at TK as they have to be FO's to be in there. It would also be good as it would create some constant turnover in USAFA north. I agree with them having to pickup trips offered. The fact that they can pick up a buddy's trip is BS and happens across the system including CPO'S ETC. Should have to pick up from trips in open time or dropped in seniority order. LCA's can have a good chunk of override, but I want the same raise. The company can afford it. They paid us 350% pay for trips all of January and didn't go broke. We have to hold the line on this turd and vote no. We can get a contract worth double this next year. The simple fact comes down to I am happy with my current contract and rules more than this POS. The company NEEDS a contract much more than we do. It's a perfect time to hit a home run. So settle in, save your money, pay off your crap, support eachother and let's bring home a contract they'll talk about for the next 20 years.

That is the only logical decision…because it is so bad that guys should choose not to bid. But honestly, based on rumors I thought the reserve rules were going to be so good that guys would want to bid.
I hope that this thing gets voted down huge, but as we all know, the yes voters WILL NOT reveal that EVER. So even though the polls show a 90/10 NO vote I’m betting it’s going to be close and go either way. People vote yes out of fear, all debted up and stressed out.
But this thing needs to go down 90/10 if we want something better. 100/0 would be better. I only have 3 years left but I’d rather ride out the current contract then vote for this turd.

In all likelihood, given Biden’s poll numbers right now, you don’t need to be considering what President Biden would or wouldn’t do. If you entered mediation today, by the time a release might begin to become realistic in your case, you ought to be wondering what a President DeSantis or a President Newsom might do. What matters, in terms of time, when the NMB and the courts look at whether or not a release from mediation is appropriate, is “time in mediation,” not time in negotiations. Here’s how the court explained it in a RLA case: “The time during which disputes between employees and commuter rail companies are in mediation must be compared with all other carrier disputes mediated before the Board. In this case, the Board has offered evidence that the time in mediation falls within the range of average times in other mediation cases.”
Also, to your point, since the 1997 APA PEB, in 100% of the five cases when “major” airlines were released from mediation and exited their cooling off period, neither the president nor Congress intervened: Northwest, Comair, Polar, World, and Spirit.

Do they show the earlier show for reserves as a 'gain' for pilots? Probably.
I don't see 1.3B in gains here.

Shouldn't the hourly BOOM rates be in here?
If the contract is two years in length and negotiations take 3-4 years, BOOM will be on the ramp holding for a gate at EWR under this contract.
Vote NO and send the NC back to demand rates for BOOM flying.
Also, will a Tumi fit in a Boom cockpit?
Core 4, Aviate, Boom, DEI, social media................................everything but running an airline.

Kirby has been a Snake Oil Salesman his entire management career. Just over a decade ago he was whipsawing the AA WO regionals into **** poor wages. A decade later he had the audacity to go crying to congress about a pilot shortage he and few other management wage smugglers helped create.
It’s been a pleasure reading some of the Pro-Kirby support from you boys in these forums knowing this day would come. Just wait until that fraudster does what he does best by running this airline straight into the ground with reckless spending on “growth”, just as he did at American. Kirby doesn’t believe in “proof of concept” he just spends money the airline doesn’t have on bullish orders, and if it blows up the workforce can take the brunt of the loss, business as usual for Scottie and the good ol’ boys. The real question is how long until Kirby comes crying the same way he did to congress for concessions from the pilot group.
