Lol nope. There’s no shame. I really rather take the NB for some time. Based on what I’ve read, the NB will offer a quicker path to what I am looking for to my QOL needs and desires.

Nothing against the WB, I rather bid for it when I feel like it will check my QOL boxes.

Are we tho? This is my first contract here. They said it should be in TA form by Friday, which if passed by the MEC then the roadshows / education will begin. From my understanding that’s at least a month and then we vote. And of course there’s a chance that it’s voted down. After what the regionals got I would definitively expect more than what has been “leaked” so far.

The final will also be interesting to see which BES(s) will get the extra awards for 8-C-4. The company doesn't have to utilize this but the Min-Max shows that they availed themselves of the opportunity everywhere except SFO 787 seats. So, for instance, snapshot one shows 8 new bids in ORD 787 CA that are going to current 787 CA bid holders from other domiciles. So, if the company desires they would be able to award 8 more pilots an ORD 787 CA assignment. This is true for many of the awards across the system and could be used rather extensively in the mid continent hubs in hte NB CA seat to make up for some of the "unfilled" assignments on the coast. If the company takes full advantage of this provision, the final award could be even more different from the last snapshot than usual.

All I’m saying is that the close of the Vacancy bid will be delayed after the language is released.

Based on what? Just trying to understand your insight. There might not even be reserve changes, I doubt they are changing global reserve rules, obviously a small part of the puzzle bid wise but an important one for the cadence

Which is short sighted considering even narrowbodies are About to be all global (with the max and 321neo/XLR)

I could see they might if they think the new contract would fill those unfilled captain slots

Major rules probably won’t change but the incentives (ie $$$) will be changing…thus incentivizing sitting reserve and pulling more drivers to the coasts.
