At least ALPA is being more honest. We remain woefully underpaid compared to our rubber dogsh$t haulers. We just carry people and all the BS that goes along with that. Bit it's obvious most of my coworkers are just dandy with that.

I wish the rumors were true. The rumors were a much better TA than this. Company and ALPA were far apart. It's obvious ALPA just gave up. Absolutely disgraceful to agree to this. $15 per hour is new minimum wage and that is rising fast. It's obvious to me, we are going to fall out of upper middle class. New hires will be living in much smaller houses in much worse areas than major airline pilots are normally accustomed to.

" Where were they" ? Typical ALPA committee response. YOU were elected and charged to do a job. The question should be "Where were YOU" when tasked with delivering on a TA that reflected the wants and needs of the membership..This TA does none of that. You failed the responsibility you were tasked with.

I'm not trying to say that the UALMEC doesn't have blame, but remember that almost all of this TA was negotiated before the pandemic. So I'm kind of following what (I Believe) Andy posted a while ago. Maybe MH wants to start anew? They couldn't suddenly renege on what was previously agreed upon by the prior MEC because that puts you on the wrong side of the NMB if things get to that point. That would be negotiating in bad faith. So, maybe MH is hoping this thing tanks so he can start from scratch based on pilot polling that is not four years old???
