Where did you get that information? There’s been no delay announced. The MEC meeting is happening as it was planned to happen.

Yep, there's no delay. Last week's email said the MEC will convene 22-24 June and will vote on 24 June. "Delay" must be fake news.

Yeah OK Covid wasn't real. All those 1+ million dead Americans are all fake. Gullible and ignorant folks like you are why pilots can't get a professional contract as you act like 4th graders.

As far as Covid, what exactly has changed between 2021 and 2022? I'll answer. Nothing. The vaccines and previous exposure are ineffective against new strains. Yet here we are, everything is open and people can mask up IF they want to. It's not like there was some major break through that got us to 2022.

I would agree that they are 'mostly' ineffective against symptomatic infection - but (both) seem quite effective at preventing the majority of hospitalizations, that's the major breakthrough! I know this is an isolated experience, but my brother is a surgeon in Norfolk, and no longer are they having to cancel surgeries or turn away non-covid patients because of being full, that seems like a win. I am personally happy that I have protection from the worst outcomes of covid without having to have had a case first.

I too am happy that everything is open, and love that people have the choice of how much personal protection they want.

you do realize it’s the other party that has let pilots go on strike in recent history. Not the one currently in office.

Bill ordered AA back after 4 minutes.

Yep and most pilots claimed it was because ALPA told Clinton to force the pilots back to work. In fact it was the OTHER labor unions (flight attendants, customer service, mechanics, etc) that were going to be emergency furloughed without pay if the pilots had struck.

So while Democrats like helping unions, “pilot unions” are the least favorite ones.

ALPA acted as the conduit for the APA’ s request to Clinton.
