Latest AIP rumor 6/7/22

So now we’re NOT supposed to vote against the TA, just flock to you after the recession is over because we “could have gotten more”? I’m confused. Is that your campaign strategy? Since you don’t believe in “tactics” and all, there must be a strategy.

This TA will be the poster child for buyers remorse within 6months of approval. Profits will be off the charts as fuel prices crash and fares stay sky high. Oh sure we all will.get our little taxable profit sharing cupcake and think how great it is while we all march off to work like good little soldier's. Just remember people that make " real money" don't wear hats. And a P2P guy said don't expect anything until the fall and that was 5 days before the AIP. Just shows how in the know they are.
What indication do you have that fuel prices are going to crash?

The line on Friday will be. Sorry guys we tried real hard to get a meaningful retirement plan in this TA but the money just wasn't there given the current economic realities. SOUND FAMILIAR? Take that to the bank. I've seen it all, excuse after excuse after excuse.

If any of us vote for less than 40% increase in pay, we're all undeserving of anything. It's inflation. That simple. They know the numbers. We know the numbers. Let's not let them devalue our labor and professionalism any more than what's been done over the last few decades. Don't let them sell you on the purple tie.
Maybe this pilot group just needs to do some daily affirmations, just say to yourself:
"I'm good enough",
"I'm smart enough",
"and dog gone it, I deserve it."
or just vote yes with your eyes closed.

You have seen it all — except for the TA. So vote no with your eyes closed.

That being said Q1 was massive losses and while everyone expects Q2 to be a huge profit, those numbers won't come out for at least 30 more days so the MECs decision will happen beforehand. It will be up to the pilot group to say what's what after seeing q2 results. (assuming it passes the MEC)
I'm personally a skeptic of the speed of things that happened last minute, like they were intentionally trying to beat q2 earnings release.

The best it could go for us is to break up that collusion and force them to compete against one another in a free market.
