🙂. We're going to have plenty of time to read, decide, discuss, and persuade after Friday. I'm optimistic for a couple of reasons...but I'm ready to call it whatever it is!

However, the company has hired 6230ish pilots since the merger (JY being the bottom Legacy guy).. so they probably "assume" that a majority of those who are eligible to vote have different goals/wants than the 2 Legacy groups.

Time will tell but I expect we will start to see/hear the direction this up coming weekend.
Hell, they delayed a Vacancy Bid closing based on a "TA" that hasn't even made it passed the MEC let alone been voting on by the membership!

Oh Well..
Motch
They are counting on all the sheep to just fall in line.

I agree with that. This pilot group will vote for turd if it floats and is endorsed by the MEC. Friday we will see just how important financial freedom is to ALPA.

I agree, but the question is why. Why do the pilots always end up voting yes? The forums are always wrong because most pilots stay off of them.

The ALPA sales machine is very effective and in my opinion the driving force. How do we combat it?

im hoping I知 wrong this time

There is very little you can do other than vote. Unfortunately most pilots just wait to have ALPA tell them how to vote. The MEC is a master at making excuses based on some economic assumption that the company can't afford to provide any retirement plan for the pilots and most buy that BS. Our only hope right now imo is to wait for DAL and AA assuming this new TA has a matching clause in it. My prediction is that this TA will be very very underwhelming like 5% , 4% ,4% no improvement to retirement some improvement to reserve rules, smal improvement to vacation / training pay. In other words a pay cut based on inflation from 2018. The sad part is the MEC will vote yes unanimously and all pat themselves on the back on how they worked so hard to bring this " industry leading contract " to the pilots.

It's pretty surprising that there are so few leaks!
