Doesn’t United actually bring these guys in for social media training camp or some such thing? I swear I heard they get these “influencer” people into HQ for a day of encouragement.

However the MEC recently sent out an email telling people to stop "influencing" while on duty. I noticed some have listened others haven't.

I don’t know anything about the AA video, and have not seen it. I’ve actually met this guy recently. He was commuting to work on my flight to EWR. Off camera he was actually an okay guy, and we talked for a while. Just remember this is one of our fellow ALPA pilots and maybe we should keep our thoughts internal and not on a public board. Please look up ALPA code of ethics. While you might not agree with him, or don’t think he is following the code, be the bigger person.
I am not trying to single one person out by posting this, it should go for us all.

Swaynes videos are actually good. mylayoverlife and the jetclipper guy arent bad either. Its the guy that shows off his body on his overnights and making someone record himself giving away a million mile coin in front of the entire flight at the gate, that is super cringe. He just wants all the attemtion he can possibly get.

That layover life guy for example, his content that I saw was so vanilla and bland.
I watched one of his foreign layover videos and was like "wow that's it?" It looked about as exciting as going out with the white new balance wearing crowd.
At least make it entertaining, like hanging out at a VIP table in the club or showing some scantily clad OnlyFans girls laying out by the hotel resort pool.
