Lol. This is hilarious. “What right does he have?”
If your a 50 year old RJ captain who’s been trying to get to a major for years, the question you should be asking is “what happened?”. I had to look this kid up because I didn’t know who he was. But he definitely has way more experience than a 20 year RJ captain. His experience comes in the form of playing the game by the new rules. Stop hating on this kid for playing his hustle. Any 20 year RJ captain that’s really wants to get hired would be better served by contacting this kid and asking for help in getting hired in 2022. He’d probably tell you to get a Twitter account and start making positive posts about the the company. He’d probably tell you to come to some company events. I got hired really young back in the day and heard all this same excuse making. He got hired because he has a better game and he’s more experienced in the most important area- getting hired.

Phew! For a minute I thought you were going to include black Wranglers and black Reeboks in your list. Obviously my Boeing baseball hat is fine too.

I would have exposed the difficulty in using "Plenty Of Fish" on overnights due to weird hours and delays and how I'd consistently simp for 6s (Jenna I still love you). There'd be at least one shirtless pic in hard overhead lighting with my gut totally sucked into shadow. I would have capitalized on every mistake made by the airline and definitely would have let you know my thoughts on TSA. I would have used a few props like surfboards and guitars to make me look interesting. Surely my intellect would come through in the technical content. It would have been quite good. Sadly I was completely consumed with online dating at the time and hadn't yet discovered Asia, so all my creative energy went to my many profiles. Props to this dude for getting it out there and getting it right. It's not what I would have done but it works for him.
You win the internets today sir. LMAO

Awesome video. I’m genuinely happy for this kid. He seems like a good guy whose down to earth and isn’t cocky. I look forward to flying a trip with him out of EWR on the 756. He’s a good fit for United.

Completely agree! The kid is humble, and if that doesn’t engage the next generation of pilots to come here, I don’t know what will.

I had the opportunity of flying with Swayne. He was professional, highly intelligent, and an overall pleasure to fly with. It is good to see a new breed of pilot entering the flight deck. I look forward to flying with him again.

He's smart, articulate, and wants to interact with people. On top of that he flies airplanes. That's what UAL wants no?
