The Woodlands is great, but just be aware of something locals refer to as “The Woodlands Tax”. You’ll pay a little more for the exact same house as in other areas, sometimes as much as $150K. Some folks find places close to The Woodlands and get most of the benefits without the cost. Spring Trails and areas off of Rayford Sawmill road are examples.

Thanks for the input. If IAH is the goal but not available at indoc, I would plan on the 73 to get there ASAP. Woul SFO be the easiest commute until I can get to IAH?

SFO is terrible. I’d suggest LAX on the west coast. East coast I would think EWR but I don’t know enough to say that with confidence.
