What are they bitter of though: Jealous they can rap in their uniform or boxers and captain hat and post it and get paid to do it. Or wear a Mohawk and sing in the flight deck while their FO does the walk around like a professional, or are they jelly of his self-centeredness of posting if he did something nice to someone that day. Or they jelly that no negative comment can be posted on their Instagram and wished they had that on theirs? Please explain?

More anonymous piling on?
Probably worth repeating again:
Paul is a really wonderful human being. Good husband, father and well-respected in his BES.
Calling him names and judging him because you saw three minutes of him on social media post says a lot more about your integrity of character than his.
Weak, weak, schitt.
Probably worth repeating again:

Did you ask him if it was ok to dox him? And I’m sure he IS a great guy IRL…..but his social media persona is embarrassing to his profession. He strikes me as the guy who is the “rock star” of his CHURCH. A good guy because of his belief system, but also a total attention hound.

Because as pilots we are all expected to be held to the same standard. We are all supposed to look and behave within strict professional guidelines set by our union and company.
When pilots are allowed to publicly violate standards and their behavior is not corrected it makes us lose faith in our union and corporate leadership. Instead of having the same rules for all, rules are there for most…but favoritism exists which causes us to doubt our future.
The more I learn about my company, my union and my pilot group the less involved I wish to be. It is because, through observation…those that have double standards have no standards.
The emperor truly has no clothes.
We observe misbehavior and dysfunction everyday, but we learn to turn our heads…because often those in leadership positions are there not because of merit, but favoritism and manipulation. Things progressively get worse over time, mishaps that are avoidable propagate and get worse.
But this is the culture of the industry. So, no…we don’t care. But we are all frustrated because of the dysfunction, toxicity and favoritism that exists. We all want the very best for our passengers and our coworkers, but under current conditions and culture the very best isn’t even a fantasy.

What happens when he bends metal or has a situation which draws media attention? The Colgan crash and the Lion Air crash had facebook photos in the media within a day. I don't want to embarrass my family or my coworkers especially in a 24 hr news cycle where they will jump all over a guy parading around in his uniform for likes from 12 yr olds. I think alpa and the company are watching because all these personalities are toeing a very fine line and at one end of the equation is a multi-million dollar career. I don't want to see someone ruin that for lack of mentoring. I don't think what he is doing is smart or professional.
