Where is the new bid?

According to the bid packages they start on the 4th ish of Mar. SSD doesn't show the aircraft type being updated yet, but that should be happening soon. They currently show as 777 C models in employee res, but they have seats blocked like they are going to be 777 A models. Look at 632 IAD-LAX on 4 March in employee res and you can see they have blocked 24 of the 50 first class seats. I think that is the first flight in the schedule with a PW 777.
Looks like Island flying starts on the 27th of March, but figure that is predicated on everything going well for the three weeks of lower 48 flying prior to that.
Hopefully they will update SSD sometime next week for the transcons, but I am not sure when that trigger will get pulled

All the A's still show stored. However, the 4 B's that are being converted with A cattle car interiors might be ready early in the plan. 3 are done with the 4th in mod now.

The vacancy screen updated last night for the first time since it went live a few weeks ago. I only recognized one difference, an increase in the number of DC 320 CAs. Other categories may have changed as well on Friday. Leads me to believe the vacancy will post soon.

like putting money in the market, keep doing it till it crashes. The hiring pace isn’t in sync with the worldwide economy. Hire till we furlough is same playbook by management throughout the years. This is no different.

They aren’t hiring for this summer or next. Hiring is based on fleet size and schedule predictions for summer 2024 and beyond. Short term pain for planned long term gain. I hope they’re right.
