How is this not constructive firing? Can they say all Jews must take unpaid leave until further notice? Don't see a difference.

We’ve heard what the company’s stance is on religious exemptions. Has anyone seen something on valid medical ones? Most of the articles that would cover it seem to be behind paywalls.

Why are you pushing Ivermectin on a thread about religious exemptions? I’d say you’re like a broken record, but at least a broken record is worth listening to once.

I’m just thankful that we have yet another COVID/vaccine/ political thread on the United page!
You morons will definitely get it sorted out on this thread. This is the one!

That goes for all protected classes. If countries start banning white males, an Airline would have every right to fire white males. That's law.

Sounds very similar to those non-ALPA members in our pilot group (the non-SCABs) who reap all the benefits of negotiated contracts but claim their religion prevents them from being members. Funny thing is most religions I’m aware of, including my Catholicism, believe in collectively coming together to help our fellow man. Union sounds like that to me.

This has been a very active thread with lots of points & counterpoints.
At the end of the day has this discussion changed anything or even made any difference?
After all of This back and forth I hope to hear how many pilots are sticking to their principles and declining the vaccine. For those who will go on unpaid leave waiting for the pandemic to materially subside before coming back to work- I'd like to know their opinion on what will be needed to effect the change required.
