Hmm, this guy is a board-certified clinical pathologist from the Mayo Clinic, with certifications in virology and immunology. Yeah I wouldn’t listen to anything he has to say. I trust Dr. Fauci, the CDC, and the WHO. They have never lied and are completely credible. GMAFB.
I'm sure he's great at what he does and Mayo is a great learning hospital, but no mention of specializing/experience in respiratory diseases, which is what Covid/SARS is.
So the next time you have a urinary tract infection, are you going to go see an ear-nose-throat doctor because they have Mayo certifications in bacterial infections? Or maybe the top veterinarian specializing in urinary tract infections?
Point is: medicine is acutely specific and specialized for a reason. And the fact that he's interviewing with the (stopthemandate) network shows some potential bias. (I'm just applying that critical thinking and analysis everyone is so jazzed about lately.)
I don't care one way or the other what other people decide, there are potential consequences no matter what one does.

He stated his certs as: Clinical pathology (studies disease in a lab by observing fluid and tissues) and skin pathology.

Gotta agree with the other comment. One must assume he is very biased, but listening to the actual video there is a ton of interesting information. I then went to Pub Med to check facts and so far all the facts I checked have been accurate.Just because someone is biased doesn't mean all their facts are wrong. They may skip inconvenient other facts, but that's up to the listener to figure out.
Ultimately, if everything he is saying is correct, I'd say there's a good chance employers trying to mandate vaccination may lose. Just a guess, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

I'd be very curious to see a link to what you are referring. If by chance he came out opposing masks, then the facts again are on his side. Sadly the CDC and WHO have taken to ignoring basic science in recommending universal masking. If there are other topics he covers, again, I would be interested to know what those are.

Can’t find much of him on normal sites, but you can find rebuttals. The video below is pretty unemotional and fair to one of his more viral video appearances.

Last time I was there a few weeks ago, no one asked me to wear a mask.
In the simulator I won't wear a mask. I don't wear one on the flight deck. Masks inhibit communication. I haven't work an O2 mask in 18 months, and i am sure we won't be for the next 3 to 5 years.
There's no perfect answer or solution. if Flexibility is the key to air power then flexibility too is the key to successful training events. No mask for me. If FO wants to wear a mask that's fine. I just might say "say again" a whole lot of times.
The company isn't issuing N95 or KN95 masks. Those may work, but everything else is junk; based on junk science. But, really need eye shield or face shield to really make the mask credible and effective.

The problem with most people today is their so ignorant they can't keep an open mind. Once someone makes up their mind their is no changing it no matter how rationale someone else sounds. I had an open mind in the beginning...2 weeks to stop the spread, wear a mask, don't wear a mask, get vaccinated then you no longer need to wear a mask, you need to wear a mask even though your vaccinated. When does it end?
