If that’s your argument then why do snapshots at all.

Why not make it one blind bid?

I think the snapshots are helpful and provide useful data when potentially bidding multiple BES from a significant amount of choices.

The more accurate it is benefits everyone.

While I don’t think someone should be required to bid at a certain point in time during the vacancy process.

I do think waiting til the last second to bid, utilizing everyone else’s data while intentionally withholding your own is a d1ck move.

China isn’t Japan, IMHO they are determined to put on a show for the world and there isn’t anything that is going to stop them. The lengths they went to show the world how “great” Beijing was during the last Olympics were staggering.

They built a new airport, took down all the construction cranes, shut down thousands of factories to clean up the air, took half the cars off the roads, and built hundreds of miles of brand new roads…..I don’t think Covid is going to slow them down.

Don't buy CF rims if your DD the car they willn't hold up and the CF breaks are worthless, overpriced and $$$of the hook to replace. PDK is awesome but boring after you become a more accomplished driver...if your racing to win money...PDK...if your racing for fun...manual I can't wait to get back in a manual...

Oh yeah MOAB...BLAAAHAAA
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the GT3RS and the GT4! I’ve been watching tons of YouTube videos on the GT4 and while it looks like a fantastic drivers car, I’m now debating if I really want to sell my Shelby GT350R to move to the GT4. While fit and finish of the Porsche is second to none, I think performance wise, the 350R is just as fast if not faster around the track as the GT4 would be, but half the cost.

Even if it’s a wash performance wise, I don’t think I could ever replace the fun factor with the combination of the GT350R’s high revving, naturally aspirated flat plane crank V8 paired with a fantastic manual gear box.

Ohh yeah, about the bid... Paul Carlson told me that he expects more 777 FO seats in the following bid as offering the those unfilled seats to new hires presents its own set of challenges. So I’m holding tight until next bid where perhaps the forward visibility of what life on that fleet will look like for summer 2022.

I too welcome our new overlords. Well done comrade. Your loyalty to our party will be well repaid!

Maybe. Most of the intelligentsia, politicians, and journalists said the exact same thing about Japan in the 80s (I'll assume you're too young to remember). That hasn't come to fruition yet; odds look decidedly worse today on that prediction.
Live long enough and you hear a lot of those 'prescient' predictions. Some come true. Most don't.
Have you spent much time in China?

US has certainly come to a pretty crippling political gridlock on formerly bipartisan issues like infrastructure which we’ll have to overcome to maintain global prominence, though I fail to see what gender identity has to do with that. We can’t discuss social issues & build roads at the same time?

Reminds me of a neighbor who went to Cuba. The five star hotel, the five star restaurant. Everything is wonderful. They told him all citizens have great education, great medical, all new cars. Communism and Socialism a la the Castros was fantastic. What he believed bore little resemblance to the families who lived there, as told to me by Cuban immigrants to the US. Things are terrible. Everyone is equally poor. The current protests are very understandable. What visitors see on the surface is all a facade.
