Default LAX

Hey all, starting class later this month. Live 1 hour away from LAX.

Just wondering if 757/767 LAX is possible out of the gate?

Also wondering what the jr 787 FO is out of LAX?

Lastly what did upgrade time come down to on the 737 out of LAX?

Thanks for your time and look forward to joining UA.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but enjoy the 737 or Bus and hopefully some good mentoring by the Captains you fly with.

The flying you get on the narrowbody is invaluable and will make you a better pilot.

Many of us waited 10+ years, endured furloughs, and the SLI to hold widebody or left seat but learned a lot about being a Union pilot during that time. Widebody and left seat will come for you. Be thankful you won the lottery by getting hired.

Based on this bid, yes.

About 5 years.

About 4 years.

ASAP as long as it takes into account inflation in some way. Our luck we sign one and the dollar halves.

A NH that started last week got LAX 756 on the bid that closed Friday. I doubt it will ever be a newhire position to be bid but you might be able to hold it as soon as you can participate in a bid on the line.

What was 756 ORD flying like precovid? International / domestic mix? Was the 737 flying any good out of ORD?

Thanks

LAX 756 is a pretty normal new hire BES. There are a lot of NB EWR/SFO unfilleds, so those will be the majority of the offerings, though.

Yes. Agree. Which Councils are up? Any chance we get to make some meaningful changes in EWR?
The councils vote in the MEC, so that's where the leverage is and where the meaningful changes need to occur first.

Three LHR/day on a 67 and some seasonal Europe stuff. Can’t speak to the 37.
