That too. Flexibility for the customers... Roll Coal at M2.0, or float along gracefully in a fat floating prius.

Out of EWR cleared FL610. Level off ask direct LHR if unable just cancel ifr and go direct with flight following 😬

Weird question, but would these airplanes meet the small narrow body definition in the UAL pilot contract and thus allow more 76 seaters?

Read 1-L-25. It defines NSNB as the CS100, E190/195 with no mention of other types. I’d argue that it doesn’t. Sounds like Kirby has realized he isn’t getting more rj’s anyway since the company is buying so many new max planes. Sounds good to me. The 737 pays better than an rj.

Used to fly gliders with a U2 guy and he said they sometimes did just that above FL600...

The very last thing ua needs is more rjs no matter how many seats .

i agree. After DH’ing on a CRJ200 in Denver I remembered how much I hate RJ’s. The plane never cooled off.
