I’m just glad that the agreement includes no mandates!! The choice is ours, not the Company’s. Well done.

at first glance it sounds like you guys did better than anyone else on vaccine pay, well done!
13 hours pay to get vaccinated...not a per shot pay. There are time limits though. It starts dropping by an hour if you wait. No pay if you call in sick to get the shot.

There is a lot more to it. It’s still the pilot’s choice but they also get to live with the consequences of that choice. If foreign countries start requiring proof of vaccination, I’m betting every pilot lines up for the shot rather than take the loss of pay.

pilots will NOT be punished for not getting the vaccine……your trip will be dropped with out pay with no opportunity to pick up over the dropped days……that’s not punishment?

If a foreign country requires a vaccine and we refuse, should we be pay protected after the company offered to pay us thousands of dollars to get the shot?

no of course not but why block the Pilot from picking up to cover the lost pay? That’s childish and punitive.

it’s just posturing. If it becomes a problem with too many pilots not being “qualified” there will be a PBS preference.
