Quick question, does United do interviews in person or via online now with covid and stuff around. How long is the wait usually from applying to getting an interview? I'm overseas right now, American but planning on how many legs to come back. Thank you

Thanks!
Also, for my LOR, i have researched that they is no limit to number of letters, am i right?
What about can I ask my current airline captains or college professors to write LOR for UAL? Or strictly from United employees?

Internal recs will carry more weight than anything else, unless your other recs are from significant people. I wouldn’t use college professors unless you’re very young. Just my opinion. None of us work in HR.

I got an email from airline apps a while back that said they prefer a minimum of two external LORs and two internal

There is a point at which too many recs would be counterproductive because the important ones will get drowned out. For externals, focus on the ones that have significance… chief pilot, etc.

But if it's an internal or external and not someone you flew with or another pilot, the letter should reflect you character and what type of person you are, etc.
