Out of curiosity, does anyone know roughly the number of crew members we staff per airplane? I’m sure its different from WB/NB... but just wondering

These BES’ aren’t opening for nearly a year right?. Maybe sooner but with Feb 2022 effective date, most new hires this year are probably going guppy would be my guess.

didnt the previous vacancy bid have open 737 and 320 spots? If so , they can still award those to new hires.

They can simply run another vacancy with as many NB slots as they want. Its not like we need pilots in the short term and it’s not like they’re going to hire the 300 or so all at once. Unfortunately, none of these people are needed until next year. Good to see them getting ahead of demand to have resources in place though.

I’d avoid the drink, there’s an extensive IQ like tray after. I’d also do it on the quietest hour you have. My kids were screaming like crazy first thing in the morning three levels down and was very distracting despite the mrs best attempt to keep them quiet. I heard it matters how soon after email you take it but no idea if that’s true. In hindsight I would have waited for them to be in bed or myself on an overnight . I didn’t realize half was an IQ like test in my defense, I should have researched it better.

anyone know how long before a possible reattempt?

When did you take the test? Yesterday?

I think there's a year in between with a total of two attempts. I'm not 100% sure though.

I’m a CJO from end of 2019, the first assessment was a ‘Becoming United’ and similar type questions as the Hogan just more customer specific. I was also told to have a beer during the Hogan, was ready to do that but the software used (at least near the end of 2019) made you take a video of your entire room (including under your desk) and you could only have a class of clear liquid. Maybe it’s changed .

Back in 2017 - 100% NOT TRUE! I got the Hogan email the first day of a four day (5-6 legs a day, hub turns in LGA/PHL/CLT) with layovers in BFE Mississippi, South Carolina, and upstate NY. I didn’t want to attempt it until I was back home with “reliable internet” Took it 5 days after the email, and 20 minutes later, it seems I passed. YMMV

nice, wish I had known that ha. I swear I saw a flash of red at the end but guess there’s still a chance.
For anyone taking it, read the instructions, its often do as many as you can in 5 minutes...that includes the next page which may
hide if you don’t scroll down your window
