I don’t see why the union would be opposed, but I can see where the company would. They don’t want to pay full time benefits to part time employees. If there were a requirement to at least fly the min line value for the month to maintain employee benefits, then I don’t see where the company would have a problem either. They’re always going to staff just enough people to get the job done, so if they can staff the reserve side and allow people above the g-line to bid zero time lines, then why not?
