SEA parking

SEA parking
I’ve been out for a year and went to renew my parking pass at the airport. They are no longer allowing people not based in SEA to have employee parking privileges. I could have been grandfathered if my parking had been active on December 31, 2020 but alas, it was not. I was however told I could purchase a monthly parking pass in the terminal for $375 a month. Thank you Port of Seattle.
Is anybody else having this problem and if so where are they parking? If you have a work around and don’t want to share it on here send me a message, thanks!

Looks like you can apply online and would meet all of the criteria the online form says. Not sure if you already tried that, though.

I went that route too and the email I received back from the parking authority said no. If you’re not domiciled here, then no pass.
I wrote a letter to the port commissioners, port management, etc. about the nearsightedness of this policy but I doubt it will do any good.
Here’s a link to the policy change listed on their website.

Anybody in this same predicament come up with any ideas of where to park?

Well the only option I’ve been able to come up with is off airport parking. Since that’s the case I took the parking pass at SFO and put a vehicle in that lot. I’ve been using Park’N Jet lot 2 which is almost across the street from the NE employee lot. You can buy a bulk package of days on their website. I can’t remember the cost but it’s around 6 bucks a day. The only crappy part is the port charges $7.95 each time you enter the lot regardless of the number of days you park. Oh well, save my receipts and write it off next year. It’s not great, but it’s one of the better options I’ve found.
