Oh my, and I thought being a bunkie on a 757 was horrible. I just don't see European 3 days on a 737. I see Irish 3 days, possibility upper UK. Everything else starts pushing >8hrs in the winter. At least these days, 8hrs in a 737 cockpit is broken up with a landing somewhere.

Flying a Guppy to Europe is about the most asinine concept that I’ve ever heard of!!! During the winter a 757 has difficulty sometimes because of the winds. There was a time in the not to distant past, that we were routinely having to stop for gas on the way back from Europe with 757s. It was happening so much that the Feds got involved and told us that if this continues, we could not advertise it as nonstop anymore. ANY Guppy cannot fly as far as a 757!!!

Unfortunately, the 737 MAX does have the range the go from EWR to Iceland, Ireland, and most, if not all, of the UK.

Yeah, I heard 757s EWR to Berlin and back was an issue anytime it operated. But I also remember a couple of 757s that had issues going back to EWR from LHR in the winter. All I’m trying to say if a 757 has issues performing, then a Guppious Maximus will DEFINITELY have issues. No Guppious Maximus can fly as far as a 757.
